The present membership rates for 2008 are as follows

FULL (VETERINARY SURGEON WHO IS A BVA MEMBER)          £ 70 annually

                                                                
ASSOCIATE   (NON BVA VETS & NON VETS)                            £ 70 annually

VETERINARY STUDENT ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP                    £ 25annually

VETERINARY NURSE   ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP                      £ 40 annually

PLEASE NOTE that non Veterinary personnel applications must be proposed by a Full BVZS member i.e. a Veterinary Surgeon who is a BVA member.

Any prospective new members must ensure that their membership form is correctly completed and submitted to the membership secretary with the appropriate fee. Vets, Vet Nurses and Vet Students do not require a proposer for membership, but non-Vets still do. Anyone not knowing someone to propose them should contact the membership secretary for advice. Email proposals are accepted. Interim membership will start immediately, but must be ratified by BVZS Council. Council meets normally on the second Tuesdays of March,June, September/October and December.
As of January 1st 2007 Kevin Eatwell took over the position of membership secretary from Derek Lyon.

Fees are due every January 1st whenever the application is made. However applications made after the November scientific meeting will be considered for the following year.
